Another twist in the Sibu Quadruple Murders seems to show that the police are now looking at one of the victims’ neighbours as a possible suspect.

This piece of news was revealed by the online news blog Sarawak Update, this afternoon.

The news (which was written in Bahasa Malaysia) says that the police brought the neighbour in for questioning after finding “concrete evidence” tying the neighbour to the brutal murders.

The blog mentioned Sibu District Police Chief ACP Shafie Ismail confirming that the 48-year old man was detained in the man’s home at 12.30am today.

The blog also said that ACP Shafie was quoted as saying that the police were at the suspect’s home to gather more evidence, as well.

According to the blog, a source informed that there was a hole in the ceiling linking the suspect’s home, to the house of the victims.
